Message from the ICSA Georgia Chapter President
Dear ICSA/Georgia Members & Friends
It has been a pleasure and privilege to serve as your ICSA Georgia Chapter President for 2010!
I have enjoyed working with each of you as we served together to build ICSA Georgia into the best chapter in the nation. I am proud to serve with a wonderful group of volunteer leaders who are each heading up an area of chapter operations to ensure that we develop and offer quality member benefits and programming.
As we move through the rest of 2010, your leadership team's primary strategic goal is to increase membership and retention. We will focus our attention on areas you have told us you value most: meeting and networking with other customer service industry professionals, expanding and enhancing your customer service knowledge, and creating opportunities for professional development.
We will also, tackle many key initiatives this year focused on retaining and growing our membership such as: expanding the Board and its role, improve the on-boarding of new members, and increase the involvement of our membership. As such, please join me in welcoming two (2) new members to the ICSA/GA chapter Board of Directors; Opal S. Reed (AGL Resources) and Jackie S. Cody (a tenured call center guru). Additionally, we are pleased to have Mr. Greg Smith, from the Wheelabrator Group of LaGrange, GA, to join the ICSA/Georgia chapter. We look forward; with great anticipation to the contributions that each of these team members will bring to the chapter.
Finally, ICSA Georgia will serve as host chapter for the ICSA National Conference and Workshop, September 19 - 24, 2010. As the host chapter, we need your assistance to serve as conference volunteers and greeters and to show our national friends and colleagues the true meaning of 'southern hospitality.' If you have not already done so, please go out to the national website (www.icsatoday.org) and register for this exciting conference.
We look forward to your continued participation this year in all of our events and behind the scenes as we strive to make ICSA Georgia the number one chapter in the nation.

Sherry Evans of Telephone Doctor Atlanta will discuss the 7 Steps to Service Recovery that will help make your day a better one!

The ICSA is proud and excited to present its 2010 International Conference, to be held at the beautiful Omni Hotel at the CNN Center in Atlanta Georgia on September 19 - 22, 2010.
Attendees will leave Atlanta enriched with a deepened understanding of how to build and maintain a customer service strategy within their organization that positively impacts and feeds into the overall strategic plan of their company.
All ICSA Chapter Members are encouraged to sign up to serve as a Conference Volunteer.
